Hello and Welcome!

hi. for a long time, I've had a burning desire, to blog. my reasons, obviously include the obvious reasons, that i want to talk about whatever the hell i feel like, at whatever time i feel like. also, perhaps there is the other reason, that for quite some time now, i've had a feeling that my true interests lie in the path of writing stories, not to mention books (hopefully someday, books that get PUBLISHED). and so for these two very simple reasons, i shall from now on BLOG.
and if you're reading this, then i have a feeling that you're at least half interested in whatever i'm saying, so thank you.
also, i'm obliged to tell you a bit about myself, so that you may decide before hand whether i constitute a mental hazard or not. i am just another guy, who's studying to be an engineer, in a country that already has easily above 10 million engineers (and that by the way, is a conservative estimate). my dear country has more than its ample share of engineers, so if i let my education slack a bit, i'm certainly not harming my countries progress, which would explain why i'm a slightly below average student. but i doubt that my studies are ever going to be relevant here.
moving over my studies (which are presumably lying wasted on the floor somewhere, hoping at least for a decent burial), i am a huge fan science-fiction/fantasy books and movies. its got something to do with my lack of interest in the real world (which i find to be below my standards). and if i ever do get published, then it shall be in those genres. as for music, i prefer hard-rock, some meaningful rap, also some soul music..... and there is of course psychedelic music!
my political views, are very simple- POLITICS are absolutely useless, unnecessary, and unethical, and as far as useless things go, its pretty much very popular! i strongly feel against politics, and politicians, and i may end up speaking against them, so be warned...
there are a few other things that i feel strongly about, and to know more about those, keep reading my blog from time to time, i haven't the time to delve into them right now.
then comes personality traits, and character traits. i am normally honest, straight-forward, sometimes brutal. and i try to be kind. i'm not exactly a caring guy, or very concerned either. at least as far as random strangers are concerned. i am somewhat a private person, which is a polite way to say that you may not ask too many questions (or expect answers to them either).
also, a friend, who shall from now on be referred to as Niki (a lot more about her later, at repeated intervals, as and when i get the opportunity), believes that i'm extremely witty, charming, funny, and that i have a a very positive attitude... believe her at your own risk.
another friend, who shall henceforth be called Will (again more on him later), is of the opinion that i'm extremely manipulative, overtly scheming, after a manner, insensitive, and completely incorrigible, not to forget a sadistic and somewhat evil guy. he is my partner in crime, and hence its possible that he may be right.
of course, he may just be a figment of my imagination and so, not the right person to trust.
and now that i'm done with advertising myself blatantly, not to mention somewhat incorrectly, i'll let you decide whether i do constitute a hazard to you brain or not. if not, then you're invited to turn up again...
*at this point, will is looking at me, with a crazy grin in his eyes. his expression is enough to convince me that he just wants to say, 'You have got to be insane!'.*
normally, i don't disagree with him, but for the purposes of my own sanity, i must disagree with him.....
so here's hoping that you shall be here again tomorrow, for another dose of my ramblings, which self-evidently tend to ramble on, and on and on!!!!
*also, at this point Niki, is looking at me, admiring my literary skills, and telling me in her sweet voice, that even if i do constitute a mental hazard, she'll turn up again. she also says that some people consider rock music to be a hazard, yet people keep listening. presumably she says this to assure me that even if i'm a mental hazard, you'll turn up again!*
PS: Oh and you're welcome at my blog! i'm assured that that is the best way to be nice to someone who has done me the courtesy of reading my blog, which may or may not be interesting. i should probably have said it in the beginning, but at that time, i was too busy beginning this blog to think about it, until it was too late... while we're on the subject, i suppose it is also considered polite social etiquette to say Hello when you meet someone the first time. so, i'd like to take the opportunity to say an extremely belated Hello :p
